Revel Bars

This recipe is in the RS newsletter for February.

1 Cup butter, softened
2 Cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 Cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Cup old fashioned oats

Cream butter and sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Add flour, soda and salt. Add oatmeal and mix well. Spread 2/3 of mixture in a greased 12 x 15 pan.

Prepare topping:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. chocolate chips

Melt all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. When melted, drizzle over pressed mixture. Then crumble remaining cookie mixture over top. Bake at 325 degrees for EXACTLY 20 minutes. Remove and cool. They freeze well.
