Chicken Noodle Soup

4 1/2 cups cold water
1 12.5 oz can of chicken with juice
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 medium carrots chopped, about 1 cup (I grate mine)
2 medium stalks celery chopped, about 1 cup
1 small onion chopped, about 1/4 cup (or 2 TBS. dehydrated onion)
2 chicken bullion cubes
1 cup noodles ( I add more noodles. I like old fashioned noodles that come in a bag.)

Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Let boil until noodles are done.

I double this recipe for my family.

  1. I made this soup last night. It was yummy and so fast to make. I think it only took 30 minutes from start to finish.
